Bruce Crawford, MSP for the Stirling constituency, has welcomed the announcement that Stirling is to receive over £14,000 in Cashback for Community funding.

CashBack for Communities is a programme of diversionary activities for young people to increase the opportunities they have to develop their interests and skills in an enjoyable, fulfilling and supported way. Using funds recovered from the proceeds of crime, the Scottish Government has committed to investing over £13 million in a range of CashBack projects for young people.

Commenting, Mr. Crawford said: “I am delighted that these three excellent schemes are to receive funding from the Cashback to Communities scheme, making sure that recovered proceeds of crime are reinvested in communities.

Bruce Crawford, MSP for the Stirling constituency, has welcomed the announcement by the Scottish Government of the latest round of housing investment that sees an additional £1.75 million allocated to Stirling.

The funding will see a total of £20 million invested across Scotland, and will see an additional 47 new houses build in the Stirling area for rent.

Commenting, Mr. Crawford said: “This latest announcement of £1.75 million is further great news for Stirling, bringing the total funding from the Scottish Government for Stirling to £1.8 million.
